CheepBoox is a book promotional platform that helps authors and publishers increase the visibility of their books. Our services include:

Paid promotional placements for books via our daily newsletter and website
Featured advertising spots (“Chica’s Choice” premium placements)
Free book and boxset collection listings
Lead magnet and reader magnet promotional listings
Newsletter distribution to our subscriber base of book readers

CheepBoox acts as a promotional platform only. We do not sell books directly. All book purchases are completed through third-party retailers such as Amazon.

2. User Accounts and Responsibilities

When you submit a book or create an account on CheepBoox, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and submission
Maintain the accuracy of your information and update it as necessary
Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
Not share your account credentials with any third party
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use of your account
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. Content Submission Guidelines

By submitting a book or content to CheepBoox for promotion, you represent and warrant that:

You are the author, publisher, or authorised representative of the book being submitted
You have all necessary rights and permissions to promote the book
All information provided (title, author name, description, pricing, links) is accurate and truthful
The book cover and description comply with our content policies, including the Adult Content Policy outlined below
The book is available for purchase or download at the link provided at the time of promotion
The submitted content does not infringe on any third party’s intellectual property rights

CheepBoox reserves the right to reject, remove, or refuse to promote any submission at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

4. Adult Content Policy — Prohibited Content

⚠️ IMPORTANT: CheepBoox does not accept erotica books, sexually explicit content, or explicit book covers.

This policy is strictly enforced due to the requirements of our payment processors, PayPal and Stripe, both of which prohibit the processing of payments related to sexually explicit or adult content under their Acceptable Use Policies.

4.1 Prohibited Content Includes:

Erotica books — Books whose primary genre, category, or marketing classification is “Erotica”
Sexually explicit content — Books containing graphic sexual scenes as their primary focus or selling point
Explicit book covers — Cover images that depict nudity, sexually suggestive poses, or explicit imagery
Explicit descriptions — Book descriptions or blurbs that contain sexually graphic language
Adult-only content — Any content that would be classified as “Adult Only” or restricted to ages 18+ due to sexual content

4.2 Accepted Content:

Steamy Romance — Romance books that contain consensual intimate scenes as part of a broader narrative are generally accepted, provided they are not categorised as erotica and their covers are tasteful and non-explicit
Dark Romance — Accepted provided the content and cover comply with the above restrictions
Books across all other genres, including but not limited to: romance, mystery, thriller, science fiction, fantasy, non-fiction, and more

4.3 Consequences of Violation:

Submissions containing prohibited content will be rejected without refund
If prohibited content is discovered after promotion has begun, the listing will be immediately removed
Repeat offenders may have their accounts permanently suspended
CheepBoox reserves the right to withhold payment refunds for any submission that violates this policy

4.4 Why This Policy Exists:

Our payment processors (PayPal and Stripe) have strict policies prohibiting the facilitation of transactions related to sexually explicit content. Violation of their terms could result in the suspension of our payment processing capabilities, which would affect all authors and users of our platform. This policy exists to protect our entire community and ensure the continued operation of CheepBoox.

5. Payment and Refund Policy

5.1 Payments:

All payments for promotional services are processed securely through PayPal or Stripe
Prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated
Payment is required at the time of booking a promotional slot
By making a payment, you agree to the pricing and terms displayed at the time of purchase

5.2 Refunds:

Before promotion: If your book has not yet been promoted, you may request a full refund by contacting us
After promotion: Once your book has been included in a newsletter or featured on our website, no refunds will be issued, as the promotional service has been delivered
Policy violations: No refunds will be issued for submissions rejected due to violations of these Terms, including the Adult Content Policy
Technical issues: If a technical error on our part prevents your book from being promoted as scheduled, we will either reschedule the promotion or issue a full refund at your choice

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, branding, logos, design elements, and materials on CheepBoox are the intellectual property of CheepBoox and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws
You retain all rights to your submitted book content, including cover images and descriptions
By submitting content to CheepBoox, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited licence to display, distribute, and promote your submitted content (book cover, title, description, and links) through our website, newsletters, social media channels, and promotional materials for the duration of the promotional period
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from CheepBoox’s proprietary content without our express written permission

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

CheepBoox provides its services on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
We do not guarantee any specific results, including but not limited to book sales, downloads, page reads, or ranking improvements, as a result of using our promotional services
CheepBoox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to CheepBoox in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party websites linked from our platform, including Amazon and other book retailers

8. Disclaimer of Guarantees

CheepBoox is a promotional platform. We make no guarantees regarding:

The number of sales, downloads, or page reads your book will receive
Improvements in Amazon Best Seller Rank or other retailer rankings
The number of newsletter subscribers who will open the email or click on your book link
Any specific return on investment (ROI) from promotional spending

Promotional results vary depending on many factors including book quality, cover design, pricing, genre competitiveness, and market conditions.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using CheepBoox, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice
You may stop using the Service at any time
Upon termination, any outstanding promotional commitments that have been paid for and not yet delivered may be refunded at our discretion
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CheepBoox, its owners, operators, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third party’s rights, including intellectual property rights
Any content you submit to the Service

12. Changes to Terms

CheepBoox reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. When we make changes:
